ah, montana.

The state of Montana is first to pass a state law against enforcement of the Real ID act. Montana's governor signed the bill into law yesterday, prohibiting Montana state agencies from implementing the provisions of Real ID, and requiring all state agencies to report any attempts of Real ID enforcement by the Feds to the governor.

Good on ya, Montana.

Montana has now officially moved to the top of possible destinations for our move, sneaking its way right in between New Hampshire and Alaska. I hear it's quite pretty out there, the population density is low, and if this legislative update is any indication, the good folks of Montana seem to have their heads on somewhat straight.
