what constitution? what privacy?
Looks like the NSA has been busy keeping tabs on Grandma's weekly phone calls to her sister Ethel in Poughkeepsie.
The "We're At War, So Stop Your Whining, Terrorist Lover" crowd naturally has no problems with this program, because you have nothing to worry about if you don't have anything to hide. (By that logic, you shouldn't have a problem with living in a house made of glass bricks and wearing see-through clothing.)
They'll hold that opinion right up until the tenant in the White House has a (D) after his name, in which case the entire program will immediately morph into an outrageous abuse of government power.
Between the people who want a Socialist America, the police state fans, the ones who would love to turn us into a theocracy (complete with "spirit-filled" police force whom God tells which doors to kick down), and the ones who want a return to cave dwelling and mud eating, the "leave me alone and mind your own business" crowd gets smaller every year.

Well said. I'll have to remember that analogy.
